2017 Favorite Reads

Personal development books have always been my preferred genre because I want something I can learn and apply to my life. I've compiled a list of some of my latest favorites from 2017:

1. Compound Effect by Darren Hardy
Shows how small incremental changes lead to exponential results.

2. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson
"There are only so many things we can give a fuck about, so we need to figure out which ones really matter." This book is great reminder to be picky about where you spend your energy.

3. Light is the New Black by Rebecca Campbell
Uplifting and enlightening book that will really speak to your soul.

4. The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein
"This book is about helping people find safety in the midst of uncertainty, power when they feel powerless, and love in a fearful world."

5. Playing Big by Tara Mohr
I re-read this because it's that good and gives me the chills. It talks about all the long held feelings, patterns and beliefs women hold onto about themselves. The author gives practical steps to overcome those blocks.

6. The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
A no-nonsense approach to tackling debt and achieving total financial health. This book is the theme for my year and a book anyone can benefit from.

What's a book that has changed your life in some way?
